Input: (DEMO)
A downloadable game for Windows
In the dark cyber future people do many things online. They talk, shop, learn, date, and even work on the net. They also kill each other online. For the major corporations of the world, this land of silicon is as fertile as it is pregnable, therefore to ensure their own interests, they need to employ the very best. 'Agents' biomechanical super soldiers who can operate on and off the net, with extraordinary skill and precision, are the elite operatives that keep companies alive. Lion-One is your call sign. Best you keep yours alive too.
Input: is half Point and Click Adventure game, and half Extraction Shooter. Yes, the two genres are married at last.
Fight
Agents are expected to be proficient in all firearms, and in all environments, material or digital. Wield more than a dozen guns, against regular soldiers and heavily armoured paramilitary units, in a range of complex, open environments.
Investigate
Your company expects a high degree of self-sufficiency during your operations. So uncovering clues, tracing suspects, and securing the interests of your company can be done in whatever ways you see fit.
Die, And Come Back
Failure is always an option, and for a soldier that failure is usually a sudden death. Thankfully, your company currently has authorized your use of an experimental revival system. Digital resurrections made manifest. This does cause severe brain damage over time however, so don't get stupid with it.
This is just a free demo for Input: , it includes only the first level, and can be beaten in an hour or two. I'm of course working hard on making a fuller paid version, with many more levels, more story and features, and so on. For now though, I'm looking for feedback and suggestions, and would like to hear your thoughts on this somewhat odd, PvE extraction shooter / adventure game.
I hope you have fun, and good luck!
